We needed some urgent work on will writing and LPAs in light of my wife’s terminal diagnosis. Gabriella at Acumen was fantastic. She took time to understand our needs, shared paperwork quickly and efficiently and was incredibly empathetic to our situation. Unlike some solicitors I have worked with, she is great communicator which meant she listened as much (if not more) than she talked. If only the firm’s offices were accessible to people who struggle to/can’t climb stairs!

Highly recommend. Nicholas dealt with the sale of my Mum's house (with some complications due to a trust and Land Registry) in a professional and clear way. He responded quickly to any enquiries and kept me up to date with each step of what was needed, providing clear explanations which really helped someone like me who is not very au fait with legal things. 10/10.

I can’t recommend this firm highly enough. As a first-time business owner, I had a pretty daunting experience trying to find the right solicito. most were slow, dismissive, and made the whole process feel stressful. Then I found Acumen, and everything changed. James was exceptional from the very start. He was patient, kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made a huge difference given it was all new to me. I immediately felt I was in the right hand, and that proved completely true. We were working to a tight deadline, and the seller’s solicitors were slow and quite old-school, but James handled everything brilliantly. He was incredibly responsive (even late in the evenings), proactive, and always kept me informed. At one point I admittedly got a bit stressed, but he dealt with it professionally and calmly, and really helped put me at ease during what was a big and emotional process for me. This wasn’t just a transaction, it was my dream to buy my business, and James played a huge part in making that happen smoothly. I’ll 100% be using Acumen again and recommending them to everyone I know. A genuinely modern, professional firm that knows how to treat people properly.
