We've enlisted his services 3 times, from our initial application for a spouse visa, through a visa renewal, and finally an Indefinite leave application. All of which were approved. Amicus solicitors helped get a spouse visa for my brother. Their service, speed of communication and the care they give is at a level unmatched by other solicitors who provide poor service and give no attention to the client. Thanks to all the staff involved in our case and especially Mr Farid. My brother had a very special case, he was disabled and didn’t tick all the boxes for a spouse visa, Mr Farid was able to help us throughout and we got the spouse visa in just over 4 weeks. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with solicitor Farid. Based on my experience, I do not recommend his services at all. AVOID him and his entire firm. Farid changed the agreed course of action on my wife’s case without discussing it with me, which led to my family’s application being refused. After that, I was completely disregarded — no updates, no communication, and absolutely no guidance on what to do next. The lack of professionalism and care was shocking. When I raised my concerns that he had not carried out the work for which I paid him, and requested a refund due to the poor handling of my case, he refused to return my money. I believe this was completely unfair given the circumstances. I am now in the process of raising the matter with the legal ombudsman. This experience has caused unnecessary stress, financial loss, and frustration for both me and my family. I expected professional support and guidance, but unfortunately, that was not what I received. If you’re looking for someone reliable and responsive, I would strongly advise seeking legal help ELSEWHERE.
