This is done as a warning, not in anger. These solicitors are unethical and perform legal scams. DO NOT EVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THESE SOLICITERS ESPECIALLY IF REFERED BY A THIRD PARTY. These are ambulance chacers who try there best to get you to sign an awfully one sided contract while on the phone to them without giving you time to review it. They include a clause that waived your 14 day cooling off period so they can start charging you the second you sign. Whilst not illegal, they definitely do everything in there power to get you to sign without reading. Please don't be an idiot like me I beg all potential future clients to use a different solicitor as these do not care about their customers and their one sided contracts prove this. EDIT: The "discount" in question was the removal of the charge for work done before I had given any "instructions" which they attempted to charge me for. Their version of clearly informing you is to put details into the contract that they will try their hardest to get you to sign before reading. They will ask you to sign a document so they can "get started on your claim" whilst still on the phone with them and give no time to review the document, after which you will realize it was an unfavourable contract set up to massively favour and protect them while providing almost no protection for you the customer. I recommend any potential customers not to take the risk that this will happen to you and choose someone else
