I highly recommend John. I was LIP in my case and used John just for an advice but he was amazing. Very helpful and it didn’t feel like he is just trying to sell himself. John made my divorce very easy for me. He is very knowledgeable and courteous in all his interactions whether over the phone or email. I am a bit of a worrier and probably contacted him and the office more than I needed to, yet I always received a prompt and polite reply to the smallest of my queries. The service provided was also at a reasonable cost to me and I would highly recommend using him.

I approached Apple Tree Family law for support with my divorce. John Pratley was quick to respond and took me through what would be required and what the expected costs would be. Communications have always been timely and clear, I wasn’t left in any doubt as to how things would progress, what I’d need to do and again, what the costs would be. John is very professional in everything he does, I felt assured my interests were always being represented. A big plus for me was Johns frankness about things, he was direct and to the point about elements of the divorce and provided clarity about options available to me. I did get other quotes for legal support with my divorce but Apple Tree were far more reasonable and I say good value for money. I can’t certainly recommend John and Apple Tree Family Law.

Was recommended to John at apple tree family law following the start of my divorce proceedings at the start of 2019, throughout the process John was always very honest with his advice, and was very clear from the start that going to court should be the last resort! he drew up my financial order, and has just acted on my behalf following the sale of the family home, there have been no hidden charges, if anything he has given me a lot more of his free time than I would of expected. Never nice needing a solicitor for a breakdown in marriage, but John and apple tree law ensured there was no added stress to the situation, highly recommended 👍
