I recently used Austin Lafferty for the conveyancing of a house purchase. I'm so glad I went with Austin Lafferty. Not only did they give me an excellent, fair price - the customer service, response time and quality of work were all outstanding. I would especially like to mention Christine who was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, responsive and understanding during the process. Amanda and the rest of the team did a great job with my recent home purchase. A key requirement for me was the ability to communicate by email, as I find phone calls challenging. Thankfully, we were able to complete everything via email and one video call. Amanda was very responsive and provided helpful answers to my questions. Highly recommended!

Catastrophic service. Sale did not go through as they did not bother to deal with the case. Assistant never even called me or sent email how my case is going. Been passed down to another assistant who was slightly better. Person who answered the phone asked for 3 details: name, phone number, and email address. She managed to get email address and phone number wrong after spelling it 2 times with phonetic alphabet which she had no idea about. I had to chase them for every single thing (took them 3 weeks to translate a 2 page document). They said the seller’s solicitor didn’t make contact so called agency then they told me seller did make contact and wants to set a move in date then called Austin and lafferty and magically they asked me for a move in date. Had enough of this after 3 months of nonsense and decided to step back from the sale their response was: “They have advised that if we can get this set today, we can get the Missives done today also.” They only do something when they really need to. Stay away from this company
