I cannot recommend Grace Smyth at Barker Gotelee highly enough. Grace recently represented me in a stressful employment matter and was brilliant from start to finish. She is thoroughly professional, gives clear and realistic advice, and has an incredibly reassuring, grounded presence that helped immensely during anxious moments. She always took the time to explain everything clearly, was highly responsive, and made the entire process feel completely manageable. Her guidance was exceptional throughout - I highly recommend her. Thank you again, Grace.

My conveyancer sent me here to get a piece of paperwork sworn. Although I had no appointment, they were able to fit me in at short notice. They were gracious about it, when they could have sent me away. (My conveyancer hadn't made the effort to ask them if it was ok, first on the phone.) The newly qualified lawyer was very nice about it & made me feel welcomed. It only cost me a £5 too. They seem like nice helpful people.

I would certainly recommend Barker Gotelee and in particular Ann-Marie Matthews. She was very professional in sorting out our legal problem. She ensured we were kept fully up to date with progress and was clear and concise with all communications. She gave us confidence that she understood the issues and had a clear plan to resolve them, which she did in good time. An excellent experience.

We contacted Barker Gotelee Solicitors with a very complicated Trust set up by Universal Wealth Management (who we later reported to the Fraud Squad) and were assigned Ann-Marie Matthews to handle our case. Her knowledge was extensive and her professionalism in making the process as simple as possible for us to understand was second to none. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ann-Marie; a thoroughly pleasant experience in, what could have been a very stressful situation. Many thanks to Anne-Marie Matthews!

Barker Gotelee recently helped with both the sale of my property and the purchase of a new house and I was extremely happy with the service provided. Nicola Cawthorne was always quick to respond to any enquiries, communication was excellent throughout and was also incredibly patient with various changes that took place to the properties we were buying over a 10 month period from start to finish. I would highly recommend Barker Gotelee if you are buying or selling!
