I would give no stars if that was possible. I am very unhappy with the length of time it takes for simple matters to be actioned. They are not proactive at all. It's now 5 weeks past the deadline that they stated. No update. No contact. No response to my follow up email. The matter has been ongoing for over 2 years now. I would not recommend

When Trotters Independent Trading does personal injury claims. A cautionary tale of two halves. Barr Ellison under the control of Emma and Lucy were a highly professional and organised proactive firm. Unfortunately for Barr Ellison they left and were replaced by a couple who, if I didn’t know otherwise, could have been the directors of Trotters Independent Trading. From a service that was highly organized, proactive and professional they turned into TIT: an unprofessional, reactive and dysfunctional service. These two should have stuck to producing Peckham Spring water rather than turning their hands to personal injury claims. It would seem that TIT have expanded from New York, Paris and Peckham, to an extra office in Cambridge. Rodney (don’t forget the GCE in Art) when asked a straight forward question, seemed to have the memory of a sieve with extra holes followed rapidly by a face that resembled a Swan Vesta requiring scratching. Anything but the simplest of questions and you may as well of asked a potato. As Rodney seemed about as much use as a chocolate teapot, Del Boy stepped in. This episode just seemed like watching a dog digging for that buried homework and listening to a politician at election time with lots of promises: a bit like the Labour Party manifesto against what we now know is reality. In summary, as bad as it gets. Bonjour!

Nothing but exceptional service from Barr Ellison with both the sale of our flat and purchase of our new home. We cannot recommend them enough, especially Helen Murphy who is a credit to the firm!
