Awful experience. Arranged a meeting to talk about wills and deeds of trust. Was told over the phone that this would likely cost £150, at no point was this denied during subsequent correspondence. Had an initial meeting, decided not to go ahead with work. Was sent a bill for £200. Spend months trying to argue that charging more for the initial meeting than I was quoted over the phone for the work was ridiculous, they were having none of it. I'm guessing that the person who quoted me over the phone should not have done that, and furthermore I should have been told of the costs of the initial meeting, but none of this was ever accepted by the company. Ended up paying under duress after they threatened me with legal action. It left me feeling they only care about themselves, and money; I would strongly recommending avoiding if you want a modicum of compassion and understanding in your dealings with a solicitor.

Used BGW for conveyancing on a property I was purchasing as they dealt with my late mother’s trust. Good company to deal with. Replys are prompt and professional. Would use again.

My partner absolutely cannot recommend or thank Hannah and her team enough! Hannah was dealing with a flat sale and house purchase and communicated effectively throughout and enabled us to completete ahead of the end timeline we had imposed. She also managed to be the voice of calm when things reached the inevitably stressful period of exchange and completion dates. Should we ever move again we will definitely be using Hannah.

I found our BGW solicitor was friendly, communicative and reliable. She made the sale of our house easy and understandable. We were reassured we were in good hands and she was able to help us through the in inevitable holds ups and hick ups. I would highly recommend.
