Not good. Agreed to help me sort Deputy matters 6 months ago, after that blanked my calls and emails. After I spoke to practice manager I got email from Chumber saying they too busy. Wasted 6 months. Very unprofessional, disrespectful and full of BS. AVOID.

If you are seeking a solicitor who genuinely listens, advocates for your best interests, and provides competent legal representation, then stay far away from Taswar Hayat. I approached him at a time when I was in an extremely vulnerable state, seeking legal support regarding my emotionally abusive and controlling ex-partner. My primary concern was the well-being of my children, and I trusted him to provide guidance on how to protect them. Instead of offering legal solutions, he completely dismissed my concerns, telling me to "just get over it" because my case was "too difficult." Looking back, I now realise how he took advantage of my vulnerable state. His incompetence in court only inflamed tensions rather than working towards resolution. His approach lacked any tactical foresight or real advocacy, making an already distressing situation even worse. Instead of protecting my rights and my children's well-being, his negligence prolonged conflict, wasted time, and escalated animosity unnecessarily. A solicitor in family law should be compassionate, strategic, and dedicated to their client’s best interests. Taswar Hayat displayed none of these qualities. His lack of empathy, dismissive attitude, and poor representation have had lasting consequences. If you need a solicitor who actually fights for you, do yourself a favour and find someone else. This man is a disgrace to his profession.

I’m not sure where to begin, after finding myself in a difficult situation of needing advice on where to start with my personal matter; Blackham’s reassured me from my first phone call and I knew they were the going to support me through out my entire case. They were assertive, their knowledge was next to none and the outcome of my case was proof of the effort and compassion that went into it.
