Peta Shanks represented me, during a police interview about a counter claim from my ex-husband. She immediately challenged the police on their inaction on his domestic violence/assault on me, which they had barely investigated. I could not have wished for better representation and would thoroughly recommend her and this company to others.

Felt the need to review. Through unexpected events I met with Kate. A fantastic lawyer, and decent human being. Despite my obvious guilt through incredibly bad choices I have been treated with the upmost respect and decency. They have an understanding of life that is needed in the profession. When I needed assistance in a matter they don't deal with, I was advised of other local businesses that could help and they trusted to recommend. I was never looking for a miracle, just support and they were it!

Jeremy has represented me in custody over the last 10 years and has been what i would expect from a criminal defence solicitor he will speak up in police interviews if questions go off track make sure your rights are respected and be blunt and honest on any outcomes.

Agree with the previous marker at 1 star- Absolutely terrible service and Mr Tricks was over-friendly with the police (despite being a so-called defence solicitor). He also spent the entire interview sending emails on his laptop rather than listening or directing on questions designed to incriminate the attendee eg with vague responses. Returned to obtain important case documents later to find a run down closed cupboard; they are probably using the address as a PO /mailbox not an office like a professional successful business would. If you are someone who is asked to attend an interview in Exeter, for the sake of your future I would seriously recommend searching outside of Devon if you want the slightest chance to save your future - do not recommend this firm whatsoever. Could have done a better job myself.

In court for GBH sec 20 , this solicitors james rickard asking the Psychiatric doctor that was doing a report for the court to drag it out and also not asking me about why I had a mental brake down and not seeing the issues to do with my TBI , been asking for help for over 3 years to do with my disability. Not doing a defense statement when I called them many times , not showing the statements to me or talking about what went on. This solicitors are not good wouldn't recommend them to anyone , james was a good solicitor at one point not anymore and the solicitors do not look after you. Stay away or your not get the right help.
