Originally used BW for probate of my Father's estate. Levan was absolutely incredible and a fantastic support during a rough time. He's helped arrange property clearances, house sales, legal documentation the works. I've been so impressed that I'm using them to buy a house. Even now Rachel has been brilliant and a great help. I'll be using them for most legal work now.
I had a very poor experience with Brewer Wallace. I needed a document certifying for my mortgage process and after an online appointment with clear completion times for the documents to be sent to my solicitors, it all went downhill. The document was sent late, and when I called to check it was sent, I had different answers from different staff. When the document finally arrived my name was spelt incorrect and they incorrectly wrote a company name and address of another customer (and this was an official document) which needed completely re-doing. After I called and let them know, they resent the documents and by this time I was worried it would impact the timing of my mortgage process. They had no empathy (although mortgage process is so stressful, and current climate time is of the essence). They then sent their invoice 2 months late and demanded payment within 15 days, blaming their systems. I would highly recommend to avoid this company for their lack of organisation, GDPR concerns, carelessness and lack of care to my concerns which they were quite rude about.
I had an online appointment with this solicitor on the 12th of December to have my mortgage guarantee form signed. I clearly mentioned that the matter was urgent as I was leaving for holiday on the 15th. They assured me the paperwork would be sent by the 14th. However, I did not receive the documents as promised. Since then, I have sent follow-up emails daily, but I have not received any response. This lack of responsibility and communication has jeopardized my sales process, potentially causing significant issues.
Branches in Hull and Hornsea. I've used this firm for notarizing ID and now in the process for conveyancing. Excellent, clear and professional advice to date. Quiet happy with the service to date. Accessibility - steps in and then a dog leg short staircase into reception. Car Parking - we walked some distance from the council car park. Street parking nearer.
I used this useless law firm. Mr paul Smith, I had been in contact with him needed help selling a property and to act on my behalf. Simple......no it was not. The buyers solicitor had been in touch with paul I patiently waited a week, called to ask progress secretary said " paul is in a meetlng". So I called 2 days later guess what folks " he's in a meeting again". Call me heartless with this comment but one day paul you will need help wether it's dwp , the council , your GP, a nurse gas man or a electrician when you ask any progress I hope they say there in a meeting only then will you realise this is how I felt, with your incompetence and frustration when you can't be bothered to call back. Incompetence law firm avoid. Avoid .Avoid. Avoid.
