My experience with my previous solicitors was not so positive. My previous solicitor did not take me through the Immigration Rules thoroughly and explain how they impacted my potential application. Instead, the solicitor went ahead and made an application on my behalf and the application went on to be refused because as the Home Office stated, I did not meet all of the requirements. I felt scammed by that solicitor. Had the solicitor taken me through the impact of the Immigration Rules to my situation thoroughly and advised me correctly, I would not have made my application for settlement at that time as I would have understood that I did not qualify. I then came to Bushra Ali Solicitors. I had heard that Bushra Ali Solicitors do not leave any stone unturned to get you your desired outcome but also at the same time, are very frank, clear and transparent in advising as to whether your situation meets the requirements or not. The advice that I received at Bushra Ali Solicitors was thorough and explained to me in terms I could understand. I understood I did not qualify for settlement straight away but there was another route under which I could make an application which would eventually take me to the path to settlement. I felt very confident in the advice that I was receiving from Bushra. I found her to be very straight to the point. She did not fluff things up or make things look better than they were but clearly told me where further evidence was required and where and how I could make my potential application stronger. I really liked their way of working. Bushra Ali Solicitors handled my matter remotely which meant that I was able to attend my appointments via Zoom and did not need to take time off work or to spend time travelling to their office. I was recently granted indefinite leave to remain which was a huge relief and a great weight off my shoulders. I felt I had been in limbo for so long but finally, I was now free from immigration control. Bushra knows her field very well, not only that she’s very professional and humble. I felt like I was being represented by my sister. She genuinely cares about her clients, not just that about other peoples well being and human rights. She’s a wonderful human being with a brilliant team in tow!!!
