Amanda has been handling my purchase and has been brilliant communicating. The vendors solicitors have been a little difficult and Amanda has handled everything brilliantly, turning work around super fast when the vendors solicitors finally issued their side of the paperwork to prevent our timeline from slipping. I have had to pull out due to defects on the survey but I am glad to have Amanda working on my new property and look forward to completing.

AWFUL! We were first time buyers and had a horrendous experience. Getting hold of our actual solicitor was a pain. The assistant was also a pain to contact, and, gave us very vague instructions/information when she did eventually get back to us. We would wait for ages for any updates, and, would be expected to reply within a day when we did hear back (we are both VERY busy teachers)… They would then suddenly get back to us all of a sudden when we spoke to SAM conveyancing (who recommended them to us). We hated haggling SAM as they were brilliant, but, we were left to use them as a last resort frequently. The whole process lasted way longer than it should have done with no chain either side (2 months longer). They left everything until last minute, and, we very nearly lost our house as a result. For the stress it caused us, we wish we’d paid the extra few hundred to get a better service.

Zero contact, completely ignored I'll update this review if things change. However, my experience so far has been very, very negative and I feel it's an experience that potential customers should be aware of. My main issue so far is the complete lack of any communication. I initially instructed Chadwick Lawrence on March 12th. I completed all paperwork immediately but had not had so much as an acknowledgement of receipt until April 2nd. This only came after me calling repeatedly to try and reach my conveyancer to no avail. I would call and always reach answerphone. Emails were ignored, as were messages sent using the app. After eventually getting someone on switchboard to email on my behalf and CC. the team leader, I finally received an update in the app tracking system and a short stock email from the conveyancer. Since then, we are back to the same and I have no replies to my enquiries. I know next to nothing about where things stand, where the seller is in their chain, etc. etc. I am not a demanding customer but being completely ignored is unacceptable. I cannot think of another industry where service like this would be tolerated. At the moment, I can't think of a single reason to recommend Chadwick Lawrence and would advise anyone to avoid using them at all costs. Perhaps this will change as things proceed and I'll improve my review if they do. Here's hoping...

Conveyancer wasn't knowledgeable at all and was useless at providing updates when requested. Even the estate agents said they were having a hard time with them. They are cheap for a reason but please look elsewhere as they are not worth the price

Disgusting and unethical service. Unable to draft very simple documents (statement of truth) within a 6 week period, when we conveyed the urgency, they said it would be an additional £300 to hurry up. Extorting money from people in crisis is completely unethical - find someone else. Thank you for the inconvenience
