We had the dire misfortune of having to deal with Shilpa Miah as she was our house seller’s solicitor. We were sent l copies of emails between Shilpa and our solicitors, and Shilpa did not have a professional tone and was blaming our solicitor for things and very sassy, when legally these aspects were her responsibility. Not sure if it’s a lack of knowledge or lack of care but either way really unprofessional and concerning. She told us all incorrect information repeatedly, contradicted herself, and on exchange day was actually refusing to take calls until 4pm, leaving us all waiting for 3 hours on the street. She refused calls from our mortgage broker, solicitor and the estate agents. They were all disgusted and surprised this is even allowed. My husband actually started driving to the office in desperation because we were going to miss the deadline to move in, leaving us homeless with a baby. Completely inadequate and we would recommend avoiding using this company. It’s a shame as the other reviews using other solicitors seem positive so maybe she is a poor exception to Chattertons.

I have been in to get a ID1 form signed by Nigel. And it’s been a stressful time for my family and with myself and partner buying our first house we just wanted it to be simple. Nigel was very helpful and job was done in 30 mins. Really grateful. Thank you

We recently used Chattertons conveyancing services, Rosie Watson was amazing dealing with our conveyancing needs.
