Chilcotts have done 4 fairly significant, complex property transactions for us. David Wilde was friendly, helpful, quick, and efficient. Adam Jewells was very helpful, expert, quick and efficient. He also had the praiseworthy professionalism to anticipate and explain future potential problems, so that the client could protect themselves from future trouble. There was one small hiccup on the smallest transaction, by a different member of staff, some years ago, but David remedied it quickly, satisfactorily, and at no cost. The office staff were always very courteous and helpful. I've been a lawyer all my adult life, and my daughter has just started work as one - so we probably know a good lawyer when we see one? From what I've seen and heard over the last 15 years, I'd say there's no better firm than Chilcotts on that peninsula? I would say they are excellent.

We used Chilcotts Law for the conveyancing in the sale of my late father’s house. A lovely company to deal with. Adam Jewels was the solicitor involved but my main point of contact was Alison Coe and she couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and professional. Alison was always easy to contact by phone or email and responded to all my queries promptly and professionally. Thank you!

We couldn't recommend Tea enough. She has been absolutely brilliant throughout our house sale and purchase. Incredibly efficient and always quick to respond to emails. She has made what can be a very stressful process much easier and guided us through every stage. Highly recommend.

Yet again, I can not recommend Tea and her assistant Claire enough. They were incredible dealing with our house sale, so we asked Tea to deal with our next house , and again, they were extremely helpfulpurchase and efficient throughout. Keeping us up to date at all times. Thankyou again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We used Chilcotts Law for the conveyancing of our house purchase last summer. Adam Jewells and Alison Coe were excellent: efficient, quick to respond, able to translate legalese into comprehensible English and kept us regularly informed of the process. We purchased under modern method of auction, and they generously prepared the main sheaf of enquiries (based on the auction pack) ahead of the auction house (who were slow and unhelpful) even contacted them, so that they could send the enquiries the day they received notice of sale. Similarly, when the (even slower and more unhelpful) sellers' solicitors did not respond for over 5 weeks, they prepared everything ahead of time and responded immediately with the relevant details from our side so the purchase could be completed within the requisite 8 week timeframe. We could not have asked for better service.
