We recently completed both the sale and purchase of our properties with Brook Illing at Cook Taylor Woodhouse Eltham, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. I have been selling a flat through Brook Illing at the Eltham Office. I can’t fault the service that he and his colleagues have provided and would highly recommend him. The sale was not easy as it was leasehold and the freeholder was Greenwich Council who are a nightmare to deal with. He dealt with them efficiently and smoothly and, although it took 4 months to get to completion, none of the delays were to do with his handling. I will certainly be using him on my next sale. ,

DO NOT USE these solicitors! We had Kirsty McMahon who was utterly useless. She kept asking repetitive questions and used these tactic to delay actually getting anything done. Will randomly disappear off on annual leave without telling us even though we were days from exchange. We sent over documents requested in one pack and their team would tell us they didn’t receive one or the other and then would miraculously find it. Matthew Davies who is their apparent complaints manager is awful too, he’s just a bully on the phone and is otherwise pretty clueless. Will ring constantly trying to apply pressure without accepting any failings and will come back more bullish every time, he’s an awful person, if you can call him that. Refused to talk to him on the phone and asked for email trails of everything. Will whack you for stupid fees even if the sale doesn’t go through. Incompetent is a polite word to this describe these clowns!
