Reviews
I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service, lack of communication and overall unhelpfulness I have experienced. I have been on my IVA for just over a year and have always complied with my payments and obligations. Sadly, my mum recently passed away. I lived with her and used her car through mobility, so as a result of her passing I have had to find alternative accommodation, return the vehicle and notify my IVA company that I have inherited a small amount of money. This should be a straightforward process. I simply want to use the inheritance to request a settlement figure and pay off my IVA in full so I can move forward and secure somewhere to live. Instead, I have been passed around through messaging systems, repeatedly asked for documents, and unable to speak to anyone directly. There is no clear communication, no proactive support and no urgency shown — despite the fact that I am facing housing instability at an already extremely difficult time in my life. If I had missed a payment, I am sure contact would have been immediate. Yet when I am trying to resolve matters responsibly and settle the IVA, the response has been shockingly poor. At a time when compassion and efficiency are needed, I have experienced neither. I hope this review encourages the company to improve their communication and support for clients going through genuine hardship. I am formally requesting a Full and Final Settlement figure and for this to be put to creditors as a variation due to a windfall inheritance and change in circumstances following bereavement. I expect If this matter is not resolved promptly, we will escalate the issue by contacting the supervising Insolvency Practitioner directly and submitting a formal complaint to the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA), the regulatory body overseeing licensed insolvency practitioners. We would prefer to resolve this without escalation, but the continued lack of communication is leaving us with little alternative.
They keep blocking my review... That says enough DO NOT DO AN IVA WITHOUT DOING YOUR RESEARCH PROPERLY!!! Do your research before you're manipulated/ mislead into a long term negative impact from an IVA. Initial contact with the company will be great. Really friendly and I feel deliberately misleading on the impacts. It has been the WORST decision of my life, I wasn't in my right mind when I agreed to this financial choke hold and was mislead about the possible impacts it has on my partner. (Not married) Please consider every long term negative effect from an IVA and really think about your options before choosing an IVA. Customer service is mostly poor. Each person you speak to will give different advice and answers. If you get a IVA just know your life will feel like it's on hold for 5 years.
Shocking service. This whole iva situation with creditfix has been awful . Extending the length of it through lies and bullying and saying it's our fault . Speaking to customer services is very difficult as you cannot understand whats being said as they have very poor English. Trying to speak to our practitioner is im.posdible . And they breach their own contract but that's still our fault . I would avoid and find a better company .
Paid an IVA, never missed a payment. Finished 1.5 years ago. Never heard a word back and credit terrible still. Avoid
Don’t bother with them! I recently finished my payment in April, well that what I thought anyway! Had no contact from them regarding the completion of my IVA, didn’t think much of it until I came to sell my house! After paying for the 6 years I was told that wasn’t good enough and I had to pay an extra years worth for the creditors to be happy and to receive my completion certificate! That was a lie! Then they told me had to pay everything back because my house was up for sale and it was still tied to the house. THEN they’ve added an extra £10,000 in fees for doing absolutely bare minimum for the last 6 years! Not to mention that one of the companies I had a debt with no longer exist, they had no idea and they can’t tell me where the money has been going for the last 5 years. The customer service is terrible, they just pass you around until you get to the person who is supposedly looking after your case, but it’s not like you can understand them in the first place due to the fact that they’re all foreign and don’t have very good English accents. The Insolvency practitioners David rankin and Katy walker are also a joke and need to be held accountable!!! They have caused me more stress than the companies I actually owed money to!
