Reviews
We'd like to convey our thanks to Cunningtons for their services in dealing with the estate of a deceased relative and the subsequent house sale. We were so grateful for the advice, guidance and support we received. We'd especially like to thank Katrina, Anna, Sarah and Fiona for everything they did. Best wishes to you. Mike and Diane Holden
Cunningtons were great and made the process feel seemless for my Mum who had never sold or moved house before. It made an anxious time much easier. Communications during the process were excellent and Danielle's work could not be faulted and very professional. A big thank you to Danielle.
Top service from Kate and her team when selling my house. This is the third time I've used Cunningtons, and twice with Kate and there is nothing negative I can say. Great service and things were sorted quickly. They were always there when I needed to speak to them. Deborah was amazing, always there and great at dealing with my queries and never made out I was too much ( although I probably was, sorry!) Thank you so much, I would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
DO NOT USE Now, Cunningtons are not the Solicitors I used, they are the Solicitors the other side used for a simple transfer of equity. Looking at another recent review by again a non customer and Cunningtons reaction to this of asking to remove as they aren't customers, is complete rubbish, we have had still deal with your firm and make our experiences very valid. My ex instructed Cunningtons Mid Sept of the situation, a transfer of equity, with the mortgage offer expiring end of October, and they assured, they would be able to act to this deadline. Long story short, my solicitors didn't end up hearing from Cunningtons until Mid-Late October, asking for more information, which my solicitors swiftly replied to, again, radio silence, they ignored my solicitors attempts at contact constantly and all mine could get was one email every few days. I managed to get the Mortgage offer extended one more month, thank god, surely we complete. My solicitors did not receive the hard copy of the transfer document until the 29th November, the day my offer expired. Their lack of awareness to deadlines and lack of respect to the people in this situation is shocking and disgraceful. I am now in the position where my mortgage offer has expired, and am back at square one. All thanks to Cunningtons. Hopefully when I get a new Mortgage offer, they can get things handled a bit quicker and more respectfully. I really appreciate the delays.
DO NOT USE. My buyer is using this company. I've nearly remarketed twice. I waited 9 weeks told the buyer I'm remarketing as this is horrendous their end. Found out we had been waiting for the solicitor to send evidence to the lender and we had waited 9 weeks for nothing because they FORGOT TO SEND IT. This solicitor ignores the buyer, the estate agent and all other parties trying to get this resolved. It has been probably 16 weeks, it is clear this company do one thing per week (IF you are lucky). The solicitor has kept delaying and delaying by saying mortgage not ready because of this reason then when emailed found out all was fine twice. We all have our contracts in and wanted to move last Monday but could not due to their delays. We now want to move on Friday and the solicitor has gone away on annual leave even though they have the contract and not told anyone in her firm whether she has sent the deposit for exchange and completion. I need to pack my home and get a van and because of this solicitor we still don't know if we are moving Friday. We should have sold months ago and it is getting closer to Xmas and my mortgage offer is nearly up. Again we are in limbo because of incompetence and poor communication. If I ever sell a house again I will specify I will not sell to anyone using this company. I am so stressed I cannot manage my work meetings because I don't know if I'm moving or not and when, and we want to be in before Xmas. Avoid like the plague. On response a man emailed no apology just said I wasn't his direct customer and therefore I need to remove my review. Please note this will NOT happen. Empathy and compassion go along way, shame even after speaking to you about my issues, there wasn't any. So you still get zero stars from me and I will warn everyone not to use you to help them avoid what will be a mess.
