Reviews
This is long, but in short I strongly advise against this unprofessional firm. The service was extremely poor, at best. I instructed this firm and did all the onboarding with them and had money on acount. Then their conveyancer didn't respond to the anything from the estate agent for my purchase. No acknowdglement of receipt of Memorandom of Sale two weeks on. I emailed, called and nothing. I then found out that the conveyancer was away. I called on the day she was due back and was told she was now on sick leave and that someone would definitely get back to me the next day. No-one did. The following day, I emailed as no-one picked up the phone (something that's been a pattern throughout this ordeal). I was informed the conveyancer was back, but that she was leaving the firm that day. I asked to be forwarded to the solictor, who I'd also spoken to a few weeks ago. I was told he just left too. I asked if I had been assigned someone to progress my purchase given that two weeks had already been lost, and no-one responded to my emails. I called and left messages 7 times in the last 2 days to get an answer. No-one from conveyancing called me back. The poor family law team had to keep running upstairs to ask them to call back. Finally got hold of the practice manager Ben Few, and now it's so clear why all of their conveyancers left en masse! Awful guy. Rude, no apologies for holding my sale up, and just kept repeating my email about asking for a refund if I don't get a solictor and ignored all the others I told him about that were just requesting a solictor or even a response. He said bluntly, you'll get your money back, go elsewhere as you wish. In conclusion, if you don't want to be ignored, or your sale to be delayed, avoid at all costs. I wish I knew sooner. I'm adding to a review, because after the last one, the practice manager at Daniel Woodman and Co called me and offered to reimburse me my £30 onboarding fee if I removed my review! I was staggered. I told him the review was an honest overview of events, and he agreed that I did not have a great experience. I asked him to put his offer of money to remove my review in writing. The phone went dead... Obviously I did not accept the offer. NB The highly rated conveyancers mentioned in other reviews online (Tianna and Toby) no longer work at the firm.
Toby at Daniel Woodman was really helpful from start to finish. He responded to all of my queries in a very timely manner and was very approachable. Overall I was very happy with their service and I would definitely recommend.
Called for an appointment and they got me one the same day. John dealt with my request in a lot of detail. Ensured i understood everything i need to know regarding my enquiry, taking his time with every document. Then charged me less than I was expecting. If I ever need any legal assistance while living in Bristol again, this will be the first place i go to.
I went here to have a review and they apparently they tried to I weren't happy with what they said in that view I did the hard as I could and the best I could the best of my abilities and I need a deposited out that promises and review I didn't feel fully understood
