My experience with DC was very poor, from beginning to end, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Almost from the outset, Carolina treated me, as her supposed client, in a combative and argumentative fashion. Never did it appear that she was actually on my side about anything, so she most likely should've refused my case, unless she is money hungry, which is the only assumption I can make. She outright lied to me, that she would ensure certain protections were in place for me upon returning to the country, and also assurances that the children's passports would be returned to me upon conclusion of the proceedings. None of this was done and their firm still holds the passports to this day! Oh and if this wasn't bad enough, Carolina misspelled my name in our communications throughout my dealings with her, despite being asked to correct this multiple times. This only further communicated to me that she did not care about me as a fellow human being, and not at all as her client. The results that DC got for me and my children in these proceedings were pathetic, and nothing that was promised me from the outset. In the final hearing, the judge refused me the opportunity to present several items as well, stating they should've been presented as "findings of fact" in a hearing by my solicitors, which they never did, despite these proceedings being protracted beyond a year! If I had to do it all over again, I would've represented myself throughout because absolutely nothing they did I couldn't have done on my own, and probably achieved a much better result for a lot less hassle and money! You'll do well to avoid DC at all costs.
