If you are looking for an ethical, independent solicitor (as opposed to the legal conglomerates, which have swallowed up most of them and prioritise profit over service) I cannot speak too highly of Didsbury Family Law Solicitors. Dan genuinely cares about his clients, responds quickly, is highly professional, and charges very reasonably.

Hayley King sent sensitive documents to the wrong address given by the client without checking with me. Despite court documents and correspondence containing a different address. Sent them all to the childminder for the last 18 months. Also courts received the wrong address and I only found out about the court date 6 days in advance from cafcass via email. I’ve complained and the response was just “sorry I’ll update”. All levels of incompetence really. My solicitors communicated with you regularly and you didn’t even check. If they can’t get basic things right I wouldn’t trust them to be professional elsewhere. Steer clear.

Dan is very helpful and helped me a lot in this situation
