Duane and I have been on a very challenging journey together over the past three years. It has involved three different sets of child custody proceedings and a (relatively straightforward) divorce proceeding. The first custody proceeding was initiated by us with the aim of enabling me to be a significant part of my daughter's life (my ex-wife suddenly vacated the family home, made lots of false accusations against me and withheld contact with our daughter). The other two proceedings were initiated by my ex-wife to try and undo the order that was made in the first proceedings. At every stage Duane's strategy has been well thought out and effective. Duane is highly experienced, always keeps the child at the forefront of his mind and is very collaborative, as we were often able to brainstorm strategy together. He has an excellent knowledge of the law and the court system, knows the people involved very well and made some excellent barrister recommendations. He does not partake in "trial by correspondence" which some other solicitors find very lucrative. Duane gives excellent advice and I totally trust him, as his work and his success with my case has had a massively positive impact on my daughter's childhood.

Would definitely recommend Duane if you decide to go down the mediation route. He is very calm and explains all the options in simple terms. He gives good advice that is fair to both parties. Divorce is never easy, Duane is very good at making sure that you stay calm and make the best decision.

Duane was amazing from start to finish, thoroughly explained every step. It was refreshing to have someone explain every single eventuality even from our initial phone call. After reading 5 star reviews, I contacted Duane for a quote on an amicable divorce.. I had to chase several times to get any response back, and several months later my emails are still not being responded to! Going through a divorce is stressful enough without having to chase a solicitor! I have since gone elsewhere!
