I initially instructed Emma Selfridge during the purchase of a new home. As the process progressed, matters were taking considerably longer than expected, so I raised some reasonable questions. Unfortunately, this appeared to cause offence. I felt I was treated dismissively and that my queries were unwelcome, despite the fact that I was the client and paying for the service. The situation deteriorated and partway through the transaction I was informed that she would no longer act for me and that I should find another solicitor. This was both inconvenient and stressful given the stage I was at in the purchase. I subsequently instructed another solicitor who handled the matter efficiently and completed the purchase successfully. Following this, I submitted a complaint to the firm. When I later received copies of the relevant documentation, it became apparent that some of my telephone comments had been misrepresented. Based on my experience, I would not use Emma Selfridge again and cannot recommend her services.

Emma offered an excellent service when I was purchasing my property. Her knowledge of the sector and advice were second to none. She managed to speed up the process as well which proved to be very advantageous for us. I'd certainly recommend Emma to others when looking for an excellent conveyancing lawyer.

I’m ever so grateful for how supportive and caring Emma was. I needed help with both an ID One check and statutory declaration, which felt like a mission but Emma made it simple and straightforward.
