Avoid at all costs.Only interested in profit not the client or working in the clients best interest.. which is supposed to be number one. Employed by our 83 year old mother to defend a bogus claim. 4 CCMC later entered up at costs hearing where the Judges first commented’ What are we all doing here today, why wasn’t this dealt with a year ago and how has it cost this extortionate amount of money’.The claimant was allowed to amend then re amend his claim at every CCMC, They blamed the judge for ordering it, however at the hearing the judge blamed us for allowing the amendments. We were never consulted on these after the first CCMC and was quite clearly an opportunity to extend the case further and increase costs. An opportunity grasped with both hands by Gibson and Co.They didn’t stick to costs budget set by judge, did not inform us of vast overspend and did not inform us clearly that those costs were not recoverable. In fact when trying to get to bottom of it, our solicitor informed the costs draughtsman that we were slightly over budget. Then informed our mother she was significantly over budget. Two completely different and very misleading statements. All of this can be verified. Oh and for the cherry on the cake they also said they would like to offer our mother a discount on the extortionate costs she was enduring. Needless to say no discount was given. It nearly caused our mother to take her own life last November, when we informed them we got the response that “ oh she seemed fine last year “. Cold and heartless, didn’t even have the decency to send maybe a card? Our 83 year old mother spent around £200,000 pounds with this lot. So if you want good service with someone who follows clients instructions and puts the client before profit I suggest go elsewhere.

Just handled the sale of my late Mum's house. Very professional service and all fees stated openly upfront. Very good communication from Nina in Conveyancing. This firm has handled my family's legal matters since the 1950s and I thoroughly recomend this firm.

A very professional service for conveyancing work. I cannot recommend Nicola Carroll highly enough. She continually kept me up-to-date with everything, was easy to get in contact with and always responded to emails promptly. All work was carried out in a very timely manner and she completed the legal work for a purchase in 28 days. Our sale was also dealt with efficiently.
