I wish I could give a 7 ⭐ rating. I’m extremely impressed with the service I received from GM Wilson’s. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly proactive throughout the entire process, always staying one step ahead and taking care of everything for me. They kept me informed at every stage, answered questions promptly, and gave me complete peace of mind from start to finish. What can often be a stressful experience felt smooth and straightforward thanks to their expertise and dedication. I would not recommend this firm. Our buyers requested two surveys at the end of May, but Steven/his team did not forward the email to us until 12th June. This unnecessary delay had a knock-on effect throughout the chain. Communication was consistently poor and thw solicitor was extremely difficult to get hold of, emails were often terse, and there seemed to be little sense of urgency despite the fact that someone higher up the chain had a mortgage offer extension due to expire on 17th July. We felt that the seriousness of the situation was not appreciated. Steven also went on holiday twice within a three-week period. Ironically, this was when things finally started moving, as his colleague Lorna took over the file and actually progressed matters efficiently. She was responsive, proactive and managed to get things moving again, for which we are grateful. Overall, we found the firm to be unprofessional, slow, difficult to contact and responsible for significant delays. The lack of communication and urgency caused unnecessary stress, frustration and anxiety, and at times it felt as though the entire chain was at risk of collapsing. Based on our experience, Steven's handling of our matter fell well below the standard we expected from a conveyancing solicitor. Failing to pass on important correspondence promptly and the overall lack of communication caused avoidable delays and significant stress. I cannot recommend this firm. Avoid!

I had a great experience with the conveyancing service provided by GM Wilson Solicitors. The app was easy to use and made the whole process straightforward. Instructions were always clear and easy to follow, and any questions I had were answered with timely responses. Communication was excellent throughout, which helped make the process much less stressful. I would definitely recommend their conveyancing services to others.
