Was in unfortunate position of needing a duty solicitor and was given Sofie. Took 2 phone calls and work on other cases whilst with me, and at a time where empathy is key - showed none. Afterwards I emailed both her and partners to request further assistance and got no response at all. In a helpless position I called on my allocated professionals to assist where I was unable and was left to fend for myself in an extremely unfamiliar world

I’m current going through crown court and I had Sophie jones she been really good and excellent with me I told her about the police when I was arrested and she said how bad they deal with vulnerable people is bad I would recommend Sophie but still got to have a barrister but Sophie I would say you should go to her

I now understand why this firm has such poor reviews. One star is too much for this firm. I feel compelled to share my experience and to warn people if you want any kind of legal advice or service bypass Goldstones. The moment I contacted them I was met with a dismissive and unhelpful attitude from the receptionist. This lack of courtesy extended to the solicitors themselves, who come across as rude, disinterested, unresponsive, and lacking in both empathy and professionalism. At a time when compassion and clarity were needed most, calls were repeatedly unanswered and emails ignored to the very last minute leaving the family distressed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this firm to anyone seeking reliable, respectful, or timely legal assistance and I strongly advise anyone to seek legal advice elsewhere but this place.

Avoid like the plague. However, if you want a pretending law firm, who doesn't understand law, forever in meetings, does not return phone calls because it may cost them time and money, and only act on their own agenda. Congratulations, you have found the right firm. Be prepared, the only thing they understand is billing. I would give them a zero rating. Sadly this is not an option.
