After a divorce I was stuck with a property my ex wife refused to sell leaving me to pay all the bills on it so the only way I could sell the property was through the courts. After wasting a year and a half and a load of money using another law firm and getting nowhere my partner and I decided we needed to get a solicitor who could get the job done for us so we could move on with our lives. Because of where we live we looked at law firms in York and Hague&Dixon came up so we decided to go and have an initial consultation and explain our situation, we were introduced to Dawn Taylor who listened to what we had to say . After hearing our situation she told us what we needed to do on a step by step basis to get the property sold either by a formal agreement with my ex wife or if she refused what we had to do to take it to the courts . Unfortunately it had to go to the courts but Dawn was by our side all the way explaining all the things we needed to do and what would happen next on a step by step basis. Hague&Dixon made myself and my partner feel comfortable with things at what can be a very stressful time either in person at their office, by phone or email . I am pleased to say Dawn Taylor and her team got me the results I needed and brought a nightmare that had gone on for years to an end so myself and my partner could move on with our lives. If in the future I need the service of a good solicitor I wouldn’t think twice about giving Dawn and the Hague&Dixon team a call or referring them to family or friends who needed a good law firm.
