Instructed Harowells at Haxby when we were selling my sons house. Set out the perameters at the start and the reasons behind the need to get processes moving. They were clear this was no problem......definitely promised a service they simply don't deliver. Poor poor service from the conveyancing team. Lack of communication.......no one ever available when you ring and not responsive to urgent emails. Their delays and lack of communication have caused serious financial pressure which they know about and yet still over promise and very much under deliver. Wouldn't recommend unless you are happy with a very slow process and lack of response. Not a cheap option......don't think l am asking too much for a bit of customer service and to do what they advertise and also say they do. Sadly now......nowhere else to go other than poor reviews so no one else has to struggle like we have with this firm. Specifically the Haxby branch for us and our experience. We are still not completed and now over 6 months in. Just stay away from this firm.

We have used Harrowells several times. Most recently we used them for our house sale and purchase. They are very professional and work incredibly hard. We found them to be personable and easy to understand. Cressie, Natalie and Stephen were all brilliant. We highly recommend!

Very good service
