I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Hawkins Solicitors absolutely deserves one — especially after everything I went through before finding them. My case was time-sensitive and financially stressful because the property was on bridging finance. Every solicitor I approached quoted me an 8-week minimum turnaround time, which would’ve been disastrous for me. Then came Hawkins, who confidently offered immediate progression with a 2–4 week completion window. At first I thought it sounded too good to be true — until they proved themselves at every step. Before Hawkins, I had unfortunately instructed another firm, Taylor Rose, who are heavily advertised as one of the “leading conveyancing firms in the UK.” That reputation did not match my experience. They failed to even open my case for 6 weeks, leaving me in an incredibly stressful position and costing me horrendous amounts in fees because of the bridging situation. I felt completely powerless and ignored. Walking into Hawkins after that was like night and day. From the moment Uncle Faruq, Aqeel Ramzan, and Muhammad Patel took over my file, the entire process transformed. They were not only professional — they were proactive, organised, and extremely considerate of the pressure I was under. What shocked me most was the communication. I was receiving updates constantly, sometimes 2–3 times in the same day, keeping me fully informed and reassured. With most solicitors, I’m used to chasing for days, sometimes weeks, just to get a basic response. With Hawkins, they were ahead of everything before I even had a chance to ask. Their efficiency was incredible. Every document, every query, every hurdle — dealt with promptly and with total clarity. For the first time in a very long time, I felt that a solicitor was genuinely working for me and not just moving at their own pace. They understood how urgent my situation was and acted accordingly. The difference they made to my stress levels and overall experience is something I can’t thank them enough for. In fact, I was so impressed that the same week my property completed, I instructed them on another case. That’s how confident I am in their service. Hawkins has restored my faith in what a solicitor firm should be: reliable, honest, fast, and truly client-focused. I genuinely believe this is the beginning of a long-term and fruitful relationship for many years to come. If you’re reading this and trying to decide which solicitor to trust — especially if your case is time-sensitive — save yourself the stress and go straight to Hawkins. They are in a different league. Highly, highly recommended.
