Just wanted to share what a positive experience I had with Hyder Fattah at Hawthorn Tax. I had a self-assessment tax return I needed to file before the end of this month, which was complicated by my experience working abroad on/off in the last tax year. I had a 60-minute consultation with Hyder to review all the details, and the tax return was completed by Hyder within 48 hours. Hyder was incredibly helpful from start to finish. Tax and money usually make me feel really anxious, but he took the time to talk everything through clearly and calmly, which made such a difference. I have just moved to Anthony at Hawthorn Tax and have been very pleased with their accunting services. He helped me work through all the complexities of my self employment, as I wear various caps and did it all speedily and politely and explained anythig which I didn't understand. Highly recommend.

I contacted Hawthorn with a tricky tax issue involving moves between Scotland and England, rental income, and self-assessments. Hyder called me back within 20 minutes, took the time to clearly understand my situation, and explained what his assessment and recommendations were. Once we started, he had all the paperwork ready within 48 hours and sent it straight to HMRC for filing. He kept me updated throughout and answered every question quickly. Efficient, straightforward, and easy to deal with. I will definitely use Hyder again for future tax / business work.
