I had a really great experience selling my house with these solicitors. They were always quick to respond, explained everything clearly, and kept me updated throughout the whole process. It made things so much easier and a lot less stressful for me. I honestly appreciate all the effort and support, they really went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend!

HS Legal, Mr Jawad Mahmood and his team were excellent in dealing with my house sale completion. They were communicating regularly throughout, I would highly recommend them and since I have a property to buy, I will be using them for my property purchases in the future. Instructing HS Legal Solicitors was the worst decision I made during the sale of my property. I understand that using a solicitor outside my area would rely on digital communication, and I was quite comfortable with this. But the online system (app) didn’t work from the start, and the alternatives (email and telephone) weren’t much better. • After a while, I stopped receiving acknowledgements for any documentation/information that I had sent through, despite asking for it. • Most of the queries I had were not addressed. I was bombarded with generic, automated responses which did not resolve the issues I was raising. • I was assigned a dedicated case handler but never got to speak to him. Instead, all correspondence was signed by his ‘team’ – see above. • It was difficult to contact the firm by phone: if I was lucky enough to get through, calls were often not returned, and on one occasion, when I said that I would wait to talk to a member of the team, I was cut off. • I was advised that they would complete and check forms, but I got the impression that they were simply bouncing any/all information between me and the buyers’ solicitor. They certainly weren’t checking it; otherwise, I wouldn’t have had to respond to some of the buyer’s solicitors' queries several times over. • The day for the exchange of contracts was delayed because HS Legal wanted to use digital signatures while the buyer’s solicitor insisted on ‘wet’ signatures (hard copies). I would have thought this would have been discussed and settled between the firms before the completion date. It was left to me to race around obtaining additional ‘wet’ signatures and spending a small fortune on overnight postage to expedite the process. • I am still waiting for confirmation from HS Legal that the funds were released and on the way to my account. • It took four emails to obtain an accurate completion statement from the team. • After five or six emails, I have given up asking for the link to Trustpilot, which HS Legal says they have sent me. All in all, it has been a disappointing, frustrating experience which I wouldn’t wish on anybody.

We used HS Legal Solicitors for our property purchase and couldn’t be happier with the service. Unlike many solicitors in the UK who aren’t willing to deal with property transactions funded through investment platforms (in our case, Trading212), HS Legal went above and beyond to support us. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. Every query we had was answered swiftly, and the whole process felt smooth and stress-free. Their willingness to handle more complex funding situations really sets them apart, and we’re grateful for their dedication and expertise. Highly recommended if you’re looking for conveyancing solicitors who truly care about their clients and get things done efficiently.

A terrible firm HS Legal, conveyancing solicitor named Jawad Mahmood, who refused to call me or update me regarding the sale of my house, had not and due diligence checks, I paid conveyancing index with great regret, this man wants money without doing a job & this is unfair. He deserve below 1*
