We used HS Legal Solicitors for our property purchase and couldn’t be happier with the service. Unlike many solicitors in the UK who aren’t willing to deal with property transactions funded through investment platforms (in our case, Trading212), HS Legal went above and beyond to support us. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. Every query we had was answered swiftly, and the whole process felt smooth and stress-free. Their willingness to handle more complex funding situations really sets them apart, and we’re grateful for their dedication and expertise. I have just completed on the sale and purchase of houses. I went to HS Legal having read positive reviews, and they didnt disappoint. I was assigned Jawad Mahmood and his team. They worked through everything much quicker than all the other solicitors in the chain, and even my estate agent was complimentary of their responsiveness (positive feedback indeed when she is also dealing with the others in the chain). Everything was done online including signatures etc. They were however able to answer calls if I needed anything urgently. Job well done.

Absolutely awful experience with this company. Used them for a simple transaction to buy a flat to let and they pretty much messed up every single element of it from the spelling of our names to title deeds address. But the worst element is the £2K we sent to cover service charges in advance was somehow sent to the sellers solicitor and now we cant get it back. Have made complaint to SRA.

Appalling experience from start to finish please AVOID !!! Expecting the client to do all the chasing / paperwork etc Had all my previous sale documents in there possession for 3 days before realising I had to get planning permission documents because they failed to & said it would take too long Very very poor communication Mine was a sale only & the anxiety on my behalf was horrendous Queried my invoice on completion & still think I was overcharged £150! My advice is pay a little extra & go elsewhere I’ve bought & sold many houses in my life & this conveyancing experience has been the worst I’m glad it’s all over

Dealt with Jawad for my house purchase. Never spoke to Jawad despite numerous complaints and requests. Got my updates from my sellers solicitors as I never got updates. They only do the chases and their job when they are being threatened with SRA. They ask for upfront payment. I was getting a £250 cash back from my mortgage company. Remembered this, 5 mths after completion and they said it had been sent to my solicitors. I had to chase them for the reimbursement. They do not do anything unless you chase them. They do not work on your behalf. 9 mths after I have moved in the property, I am still chasing the solicitors to register my house. Do not use these.
