I recently used John Ross & Sons for selling my old home and buying a new one, and they were brilliant from start to finish. Massive thanks to Alex, who was amazing throughout the whole process. She was always quick to reply, really helpful, and kept me updated every step of the way. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she really made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. I’d definitely recommend John Ross & Sons (especially Alex!) to anyone buying or selling a home.

I got caught driving with no insurance for 4 months as an 18 year old driver. My friends told me about Hugh Edgar and how he's the best solicitor when it comes to traffic offences. They were absolutely right! He managed to bring my penalty down to just a 2 month driving ban and the lowest fine possible with zero points on my record. Thank you Hugh Edgar, I have learnt my lesson.

I've had variable levels of service, I think it depends on the person you deal with. My first contact with about my will-had no issues with that, all very smooth and straightforward. My second contact was about a house sale-there were hiccups with that, including sending important documents to the wrong address, but generally it was OK. Last contact was about an issue with my property-I went to John Ross because of my previous experience. Unfortunately, it has been appalling. A complete lack of communication or follow-up, and a lackadaisical, uninterested, unhelpful person dealing with my issue has made it very frustrating. I don't think I'll be using them again.

The Criminal team at John Ros Solicitors is first class. S####### told me to plead guilty but Hugh Edgar at Rosses was totally stunning and rightfully got me totally acquitted . ( I had been carefully framed ) . THANKS HUGH YOU ARE AMAZING ! Karl.

AVOID THIS SOLICITORS!! Worst place for Family Solicitor been ongoing coming up to 2 years and still haven’t got further! Taking our business elsewhere. When you ring they say we’ll get them to ring you back you could be waiting a while because they never do have to keep ringing them! Customer service isn’t there strong point. Basically been told a lot of lies we had a face to face appointment a month ago and was told the next court date is in August but couldn’t remember as they’re diary was upstairs and we were in the room downstairs, solicitors said “definitely August I can remember.” Only until I rang up again to ask what date to be told it’s September. They fob you off absolutely useless place! Please Avoid!!!!
