I haven’t instructed Kew directly, but have been part of a chain of the sale of a property. It would appear that Kew have few qualified solicitors with many unqualified assistants. 1 day before exchange they identified a discrepancy in their clients accounts costing an estimated £10,000 across the chain. I called the firm to express my concerns, whilst continuously interrupted I was eventually hung up on. The firms lack of action caused considerable stress to my family and cost to the entire chain to purchase a property. I couldn’t discourage any ones any less from choosing Kew for their sale. They are a tick box exercise firm and will not expedite their enquiries in the interest of their client.
