Terrible negligent unprofessional solicitor Bradley forgot to re new a date on a contract and I lost my very valuable lease !! Now having to sue Kirkwoods . I wish I had been warned beforehand that although he said he knows what he is doing he certainly does NOT know when it comes to commercial leases !

Awful - failed to do basic conveyancing for my flat sale. Ended up with the flat sale falling through. Buyers solicitor could not believe how poor the service I got was. AVOID

As a former solicitor myself I am very careful about who I use for legal procedures I can’t do myself. So I was delighted when on recommendation I used Sheena Shah at Kirkwoods for the sale of my late mother’s flat. At a time of stress, both due to my mother’s death and the Covid pandemic, it was a great relief to feel I was in truly capable hands. Sheena knows exactly what she is doing and I could trust her completely. Sheena is very experienced and knowledgeable. She was able to reassure me completely when things got difficult, which they did due to a quirk of my mother’s legal title and other issues that arose. She is pragmatic and explained everything to me that I didn’t understand and was tough when she needed to be but realistic as well. She is also a really lovely person. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again and highly recommend her to everyone.

We both bought & sold a house through Sheenah at Kirkwoods Solicitors this year and cannot speak highly enough about her. Any property transaction during the COVID-19 pandemic will have been challenging and in our case it was particularly so. Throughout a long period with numerous false starts, Sheenah has been simply superb - she is responsive, always has a handle on the detail, is capable and highly effective. We couldn't recommend availing of her services strongly enough.

Terrible solicitors as conveyancers - didn’t acquire required documentation during our purchase impacting our future sale of property. During initial purchase - asked absolutely irrelevant enquiries and missed key questions resulting in a 5 month timeline for completion. Do not use this company.
