I have visited the offices of Lisa Ellis Solicitors in Botley on a couple of occasions over the last 18 months and now consider them to be my preferred go to local family law firm. I have already recommended them to my friends as they are very approachable and are never too busy to help. Catherine in particular has been extremely helpful with advice on both an ongoing divorce and has supported me with a rental property issue that some of the other law firms in the area were not prepared to help with. I am writing to share feedback regarding the legal support I received from you in 2023. At the outset, I appreciated your involvement and the guidance you provided. You walked with me through the initial stages of my case, which gave me a sense of reassurance and trust in your professional commitment. However, I must express my disappointment with how things unfolded on the day of the court hearing. I was not informed in advance that you would not be attending, and instead, my case was handed over—first to one individual, then to another. This lack of continuity and communication left me feeling unsupported and unprepared at a critical moment. It gave the impression that, having received payment, you withdrew from your responsibilities without proper notice or explanation. I had expected a consistent and reliable presence, especially during such a pivotal stage of the process. I hope you will take this feedback constructively. Clear communication and continuity of representation are essential to maintaining trust and professionalism in legal practice.

Catherine was very helpful and knowledgeable and gave me good guidance throughout my divorce process. It felt like I had someone by my side throughout which is exactly what I needed. I would have been caught out a number of times without her advice. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a family law solicitor.

Can’t thank you guys enough for your time and support, I had an hour free phone call with Camillar on Tuesday 15th October 2025 and was given some really great advice to do with my family court case, would highly recommend!!!
