Disappointed with my experience after seeing such good reviews. Communication was poor, a lot of assumed knowledge even though this was my first house purchase. One member of the team in particular came across just rude. Advice on certain situations through out the purchase was non-existent despite my repeated concerns about it - one for example landed me with a huge bill to clear items out of a house that weren’t agreed on the contract and they continued to not respond to my emails with advice. They did exchange and complete quickly but I won’t be using again.

We recently used Lockings to complete our purchase. Joanna and her team were great throughout the process, providing frequent updates and answering all of our questions. Lockings we're priced competitively and offered a great service. We will be in touch again with Lockings when we next move. Although they have a York office address, the team we dealt with are all based in Hull. I think this is important to mention for anyone who may want to visit the office in person. This wasn't an issue at all for us, however, as we completed all paperwork and communications over email and the phone.
