diabolical the worst - If only I had read the reviews , No body should ever use this Solicitor! They dont answer calls,they ignore emails ,they blatantly lie,its a very upsetting stressful time when you lose a parent ,Denyse Marshall has no heart ,she made a really bad emotional time a thousand times worse by her complete unprofessional, uncaring and completely diabolical behaviour and treatment of clients . They played 1 excutor against the other - with their lies. DO NOT USE THIS SOLICITORS/SHE SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID I have sent an email to Marshalls with my thoughts as she asked me to in her response . However I know it wont get a response!!! If you are reading this as you are thinking about appointing Marshalls - DONT!!! Our new solicitors in Exeter have commented about the fact they do not respond to voicemails /emails they have sent !!!So Marshalls even treat another law firm the exact same way !!!!! AVOID ,DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER IT !!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID: TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Seems to be a familiar pattern with reviews on this company. Like others who have reviewed, we have been waiting over 8 years for my Dad's estate to be resolved and it's still ongoing with no updates whatsoever. Charging for fees when nothing is actually being done. Losing money/properties and completely unable to get in touch with them. When I call off a number they do not recognise, they answer funnily enough. As well as this, we have discovered that Denyse has told the beneficiaries different versions of the truth and unfortunately has caused friction in the family. Does not seem to care about the lives of those having to go through this, just as long as her invoices are paid. Money/properties/businesses/inheritance isn't important. Closure is important and we can't get closure due to the negligence shown on Marshalls part. The words evil and heartless come to mind.

Sooooo Marshalls solicitors ! Most of the reviews all say the same, her lack of communication, no updates and my sons have experienced this for the last 8 years and still no where near a resolve. 8 years after my sons dad passed they are still waiting for properties to be sold abroad, £17000 so far has been sent to solicitors in Spain/France and nothing at all has been done, its a complex estate anyway but this shouldnt be the reason for her shocking attitude towards it all… my sons have so far lost thousands and stand to lose a potential £150,000, meanwhile she continues to take fees, £40,000 i believe so far, could be wrong. This is my boys inheritance that their father worked so damn hard for and she has no empathy at all in her body. She can only deal with two bit cases ie mortgages, shes way out of her comfort zone with our case and shes making a bloody fortune, eating into my sons inheritance… Denyse Marshall you should be damn well ashamed of yourself and i hope that one day you realise the pain and stress you have and continue to cause

Absolutely terrible, couldn't call it a service, avoids all contact with anyone, four different members of the family have tried to contact them over the course of nearly 8 years to resolve issues with grandfather's estate, 8 YEARS. my own brothers has tried to contact them for over four months, everyday and they don't answer, they don't call back, do not use them for anything, they will charge you a ridiculous amount of money, and you will never hear from them again, Absolutely despicable, shouldn't be allowed to operate a tea spoon let alone a solicitors practise, don't waste your time or your money.

This solicitor doesn't even deserve one star. So far it is taking them over 3 years to resolve my dad's estate and we are still waiting. Absolutely disgusted by the lack of communication, service and professionalism!! We are taking them to the legal ombudsman. Their fees are in the region of £10,000 so far! What a joke! update - now over 8 years and still no progress. I may be dead by the time this has completed. Update 25.07.25 - over 9 years and no progress!
