Before I made contact with Martin Cray and co, I thought it was all doom and gloom as a male in a married family home, potentially heading for separation. Then Donna at Martin Cray & co, spun it completely on its head, Donna was able to see me at short notice and the info Donna provided me in my first hour meeting was incredibly encouraging, Donna was very clear and understanding. Phone up for an enquiry and greeted by a snooty receptionist make an exemption that I need a legal aid without knowing the full story, and was more interested in telling me the prices then listen to my inquiry, I felt like I was in the film of pretty woman walking into the shop and for her saying you made a big mistake, yes you did. You’ve lost a client that would’ve spent a lot of money with you all because your receptionist think she’s better than the clients. . My advice is retrain the reception on how to speak to potential clients, especially when you are a small firm that needs the money.

I was recommend Martin Cray by a McKenzie friend. After an initial conversation with Tamara, their specialist in family law, I felt it was the right course to proceed with them. Going to court is never an easy process and Tamara went over and above to support me. She would reply to messages very quickly and gave me all the time needed when I needed to talk through matters and in preparation for the case. I felt very prioritised and appreciated the hand holding. Tamara is smart, kind, professional, friendly, talks at twice the speed of a normal human being (rather a bonus when on the clock) and is wise beyond her years.
