MBS Accountants have been with from the moment I started my journey as a business owner over two years ago. I can tell you how efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and understanding they are. But when you sign up to work with them you will see all of this. The best thing about MBS accountants, is that everyday they have supported me. MBS accountants had been recommended to me some two years ago. The moment I stepped into the office to have an initial consultation and take the plunge into starting my own company, I was overwhelmed by the professionalism of the entire office - this stood out to me as they were also so helpful and understanding of my situation and nervousness. During my consultation, and if I am to be honest within the first few minutes of meeting Ian I instantly new how knowledgeable Ian was, he assisted in the formation of my limited company and offered great advice. In the first year I started with £200, nothing and no nobody by an idea that I wanted to use my skill sets to help others, this didn't phase the MBS team (and others have started with much less). They offered me a package that was easy to use and kept me on top of the financial direction of my company. This afforded me the time to expand my company. … It didn't end there though, MBS are an innovative company and they use the latest technology coupled with the right people in the right places. My package included the use of an app much like 'quikbooks' with one key and very very important difference. An actual, REAL human being to talk to. E-mails and calls were always answered in a timely manner and there was no fear of being judged or asking a silly question. These people help you get you to where you want to be. They are more than an accounting firm to me and my company, they are an extension of my business family and integral part to my many successes. Despite being recommended by an existing client of theirs, MBS are not interested in supporting startup or small businesses. I found the onboarding process unfriendly, unhelpful, very impersonal and totally unnecessary as they could have sorted this whilst on the initial call call with me. Then they shared my personal and company details including my whole and confidential enquiry submission to a completely random company without any permission to do so. Not the ethics or professionalism expected of an accountancy practice at all. AVOID.
