Very glad I changed legal representation early in my case to be represented by this firm. Dealing with Ms McCann and her team has been straightforward and most importantly - highly effective in court. I cannot recommend this firm for family court disputes highly enough. I have received well-informed and objective advice throughout - which are essential traits in a high conflict dispute - and confident and professional advocacy in court - all that on a complex and exhausting case that i believe few would be able to manage. Lorna knows her trade inside out, has excellent recall on the sclerotic details of my case, speaks confidently in court and seems to be well respected by judges - she is also a very decent human being. I could go on. Excellent firm.

I can't say that she isn't nice or staff are rude but there are many failings. Filing seems to be a big issue things ordered by client not filed. Issues raised and evidence given aren't used to defend often uses coursive talking to get people to change there wishes. Communication is really bad files needed to file legal aid aren't asked for and not told that it hasn't been filed for untill right before a big court/hearing date,. messages calls ignored constantly no reply when issues are addressed and should be fixed leaving people in the dark on what they should do for a fast approaching date. Fudging the truth to get you to agree to a deal not being informed that it could be refused after court by the other party leaving you at a complete loss when they do and its too late to go through court you just lose everything. I did think they where great at first and I think yes but realistically it shows in time they don't fight your legal side or for rights they don't ask for evidence and don't argue facts of statements for government officials it is like they work for the authorities and not for you or your legal rights. Just avoid she can't handle the work load she has you will be ignored for months everything will take months to get anything done and you will be losing 1/5 years no evidence and no movement and now completely ignored about everything even asking about getting new legal representation I'm blanked completely

Myself and my family have used McIntosh McCann Solicitors for several matters over the years that includes Power of Attorneys, Wills and we have also used their Conveyancing Department. Each process has been extremely smooth and we have always been kept up to date on the progress. The Solicitors here are extremely knowledgeable and go above and beyond for you. I would not hesitate to use this firm again if required in the future.

I would give it minus 5 if I could. When I went here I delt with Ms mcann and it was horrible. I went to her because of corrupt cops and she would not help, even with the evidence I had. Was made to get my own legal aid and when I was unable as didn't know what to do, they told me they wouldn't help. This woman and her team are disgusting and I would stay away. Just another laywer who protects corrupt cops and acts like shes there to help. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT A CHANCE IN COURT!!( update after Ms mcanns reply. This was a appeal case that I was referred to you by another lawyer and the type of case you defenetly delt with) lies lies and more lies from the people thst say they help.

Without a doubt, the worst experience i have ever went through. Didn't even help me get legal aid. Reading the rest of the comments that seems to be a normal thing from this terrible firm. They care about your money and themselves not helping. I am so sad to have had to go through this. Wish I never met Ms mcann. Horrible woman.
