Used this firm for a protracted divorce, due to the covid situation. Initially impressed with the Family Law Solicitor. Unfortunately he moved to another firm, with hindsight I should moved elsewhere at that point, A very different approached and manner then ensued, not for the better. I had a number of grievances, but I will outline the main points - THEY decided I needed two lawyers at a couple of meetings, I've no idea why, the meetings were more of the same old, appeared the new solicitors were getting up to speed on my case. They charged double, I queried the bill, the Senior Solicitor was affronted! I was then informed they can bring who ever they want into a meeting if THEY feel its necessary, so if Tom, Dick, Harry start appearing at your meetings, you know what's going down! My case was too far down the line, and it had already experienced a number of significant delays, so I was in a bad position and really had little choice but to ride it out. The rate for billing was also wrong, I complained, it went to a Senior partner, who basically blustered the bill wasn't wrong, when it clearly was, they advised pay it or it goes to a court auditor. I took some advice from other solicitors I know personally, they felt I had valid points, so I emailed asking for an auditor decision or amend the bill. Never heard anything for probably a year, then another demand email arrived. I reiterated my previously proposition, a sum was then taken off the bill. I didn't have an issue with the Solicitor who represented me latterly, clearly a smart, intelligent and amiable person, however the more senior staffs manner, approach and customer service skills I found diabolical. Shop around there are some smaller companies out there that provided good service and are somewhat less occupied with populating charge sheets.

I couldn’t recommend any other solicitors like this. Miller SamuelHill Brown are an amazing company to deal with from start to finish. First class service and straight on the case. Everyone I have dealt with within the business has been friendly, efficient and professional. Advice is always presented in a user friendly format and they take their time to ensure that you have digested everything. 5 stars from me!

His advice is always excellent, he is responsive, gets the job done quickly and has proven to be very capable of looking after my interests should problems arise in any of my transactions. Miller Samuel Hill Brown recently did the conveyancing for a house move for my wife and I. Everyone at Miller Samuel Hill Brown we dealt with were excellent. Great communication and when problems arose they investigated pragmatic solutions. Nine years ago we used Hill Brown for conveyancing for our previous house move and were impressed with them enough to use them again after their merger with Miller Samuel. We were not disappointed. I would whole heartedly recommend Miller Samuel Hill Brown to anyone looking for a competent and professional law firm with high integrity.
