Extremely disappointing and unprofessional handling of an enquiry. I would not recommend this firm. I contacted this firm several weeks ago seeking limited legal assistance. I was asked to provide detailed written statements, a draft letter, and supporting evidence, which I sent promptly. Over the following weeks, I repeatedly chased for updates and was repeatedly told that someone from the relevant team would come back to me. Despite this, no meaningful response was provided. After around three weeks of silence, follow-ups, and being led to believe the matter was being progressed, I was eventually told that the firm could not give it due attention and would not be proceeding. A firm is of course entitled to decline work. What is not acceptable is requesting extensive documentation, allowing a matter to drag on for weeks, repeatedly implying progress, and only then closing it down. This wasted a significant amount of my time and delayed me from instructing someone else. Based on my experience, the communication, case handling, and professionalism were poor. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before relying on this firm if timing and clarity matter.
