My fiancé and I have had a truly wonderful experience with Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand for buying our first house and expecting our second daughter in a few months, Emma has made the process so calm for us. We were lucky enough to have Emma Greenwood as our solicitor, and she has been incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. She’s unfailingly polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. We honestly can’t fault her — what an exceptional woman! We had such a great experience buying our first home with OSG, Emma Greenwood was a fantastic solicitor (along with Laura!) who kept us informed the whole way through. We'd heard horror stories of house buying journeys and it being slow and stressful, but our experience with OSG was anything but. I have recently engaged Oglethorpe, Sturton & Gillibrand Solicitors to help manage the sale of my late Mother-In-Law's property. Acting as the Executor there were a number of issues associated with the standard suite of documents which asked questions that could only be answered by the property owner, for example, adherence to building regulations for a sun room erected over twenty years ago. However, with the professional help from the Team these maters were soon overcome. Working with the Estate Agents coordination team, the process of selling the property was relatively straight forward and in comparison to other stories I hear, my experience was extremely painless and was completed in a very timely manner.
