Reviews
Excellent care It was my first meeting with Dr Powell who was really caring, reassuring & helpful. As with everyone at the practice we always find excellent helpful people. I hear friends complaining about their experience at their practices but we have never had any complaints. Thank you very much.
I received a text message reminding me to make an appointment for routine blood tests on Monday, I was passing the surgery so called in, I was given instruction on how to make an appointment and given the necessary paperwork. I went to the blood centre in Rhyl as I was in the area and they were able to squeeze me in. I then received a call on Wednesday from PYB surgery to make an appointment to see the doctor to discuss the test results. I was given an appointment the next day and taken through the next steps for my good health. In summary, I have received a brilliant and speedy service and would like to thank all PYB and the blood centre teams, keep up the great work, it is appreciated.
Dr Powell was extremely attentive when reviewing me at the surgery. He asked appropriate clinical questions, signpost me correctly and although obviously had a full surgery I did not feel rushed. He had a wide knowledge of other specialty skills oncology and psychiatry which he was able to refer to appropriately. His empathy was very apparent and his sympathy palpable I would not hesitate in seeing dr powell again and is a real asset to Pen y bont surgery
Excellent consultation with Dr Powell. Who rang me with some blood results was very understanding and caring and reassuring! Now adjusting some medication to treat electrolytes imbalances. All the Doctors and staff at pen y bont are very professional and caring.
The care I received has been fantastic from calling the surgery in the morning and getting a phone call from Dr Powell who was so helpful and listening to my concerns and I felt like he really cared about how I was feeling regarding my symptoms I was having. I got an appointment on the same day to come into surgery to have some blood tests and an ECG which was done by a lovely friendly nurse. I was seen very quickly by the nurse and Dr Powell when I arrived. The reception staff were lovely too. Thank you so much Dr Powell for the care I have received so far and to the nurse and reception staff I would rate my care more than 5 star great doctor and great friendly caring staff here.
