Very disappointing experience. When I decided to transfer to a new accountancy firm, there were significant delays in releasing my accounts, which caused unnecessary stress and disruption. What I found most unfair was that once they became aware I was leaving, I was presented with a large number of additional invoices for “time spent” that had never been discussed, agreed, or communicated beforehand. This felt opportunistic and completely unexpected. In my opinion, the handling of my departure was unprofessional and lacked transparency. I would not use this firm again and would advise others to proceed with caution, particularly if you ever plan to move accountants.
