I contacted Rands solicitors in August 2025, because I needed a solicitor to assist with my late Mums Estate. I called Rands and the receptionist arranged for an appointment with Jonathan Fall, on the same day. Jonathan was very friendly and explained the process clearly, so I decided to let Jonathan have the job. Jonathan told me how long he thought it would take for the estate to be completed and how much it would cost. I was kept informed throughout the proceedings, and was very impressed that Jonathan was able to complete the estate in the time specified, and the charge was what I had been quoted at our first meeting. I found all Rands staff to be very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend Jonathan Fall.

Eight years ago, we had our wills prepared by a well-known firm of solicitors in Scunthorpe. Recently, we decided to have them amended and returned to the same firm. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected — the service was poor, and the solicitor in our view was unprofessional so we left with our wills. A few days earlier, my wife had accompanied her mother to Rands Solicitors on Ashby High Street to arrange a new will. Remembering how friendly and professional they were, we went straight there after our disappointing experience at the previous firm. The receptionist at Rands Solicitors was welcoming and understanding when we explained the situation. She quickly arranged an appointment for us with Jonathan Fall, whom my wife and her mother had seen previously. A couple of days later, we met with Jonathan, who reviewed the wills created eight years earlier by the previous solicitors and immediately identified several errors in my mirror will — issues that could have had serious consequences for my children after my death. Jonathan took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. He was friendly, professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable throughout. We were extremely impressed with both Jonathan and Rands Solicitors. Not only did we receive first-class service, but their fees for mirror wills were also more reasonable than those charged by the previous firm. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jonathan Fall at Rands Solicitors to anyone seeking expert, reliable, and genuinely caring legal advice.

We’ve purchased our first house through Rands Solicitors and can’t recommend them enough. Danielle at Rands Solicitors is superstar. Everything was communicated so well. Prompt response to everything. The searches and other paperwork was done so quickly that we could complete it quite fast, which is very important. We were first time buyers so had no idea what we supposed to but Danielle did a great job by answering our queries. I’m going to recommend them to my friends and family who’s buying house in future. Five and more stars to them ⭐️ Highly recommend!

Danielle at Rands Solicitors dealt with the sale of our first home and the purchase of our second. She was professional throughout and made sure we were on the right side of things legally at each step. Really appreciate her help in getting everything over the line. We particularly found it handy the Ashby office was local to us - being able to take documents in when needed was a plus.
