Reviews
I have purchased multiple commercial and residential properties and this team is among the best in the market. They are quick, efficient, and consistently demonstrate excellent attention to detail. I mainly work with Elliot for property exchanges—he replies promptly to emails and queries and makes the entire process smooth and stress-free. I wouldn’t use anyone else for my future property purchases.
Rich & Carr were brilliant in the handling of our sale and purchase. Throughout, Rubina was approachable, assuring, and made the process seamless. We very much appreciated that she was easily contactable, often at short notice, and was always willing to provide advice when needed. We would definitely use Rich & Carr again, and will be recommending them to friends and family.
Brilliant Service from day 1 initial contact to completion. Great help, knowledge and efficiency. Thanks to Rubina and team. Seamless sale that wasn’t straight forward by any means. But with Rubina’s guidance made the process very simple. Thank you
A great Solicitors for moving home. Elliot our solicitor always responded to emails within a few hours, usually quicker to be fair. He was very helpful and understanding when it came to explaining things that I had no knowledge or experience of. The value for money is excellent, don't hesitate to use these guys.
I’m really disappointed with how my sister’s situation was handled by Rich and Carr. We approached them during a very painful and sensitive time, trying to confirm whether they held the will of someone who may be our father. Instead of guiding a young woman through an already emotional situation, my sister felt dismissed almost immediately. What was especially upsetting was that she was told it “wasn’t the right person” without any proper checks being explained or any compassion shown. No one asked to see a death certificate or made any real effort to clarify basic identifying information. She was simply sent away confused and distressed. As her older sibling, I ended up having to come in myself to try to get answers — something that could have been resolved in 20 minutes if there had been a bit of patience, understanding, and professionalism. Unfortunately, the experience felt harsh, abrupt, and completely lacking in empathy, especially given we are in the middle of arranging our dad’s funeral. Thank you for your response. I need to make it absolutely clear that at no point did I dispute whether your office held the will. The issue was never the location of the document. It was how you went about not helping us establish if this was the correct person. This entire situation could have been avoided had your staff approached the matter with even a basic level of professionalism, clarity, and courtesy. Instead, we were repeatedly dismissed without any proper verification of who we were or what information we were seeking. That is not acceptable conduct from a regulated law firm. It is also concerning that I had to attend your office several times simply to ensure that my sister—who was already distressed—was spoken to with some degree of respect. The lack of empathy or basic communication shown was completely inappropriate. Your public reply continues in the same vein: it ignores the concerns raised, dismisses our experience, and reduces everything to a single point that was never in dispute. This demonstrates a clear failure to listen, engage, or take responsibility for the way the matter was handled. As you will be aware, solicitors have binding obligations under the SRA Standards and Regulations, including: • Acting in a way that upholds public trust and confidence in the profession (SRA Principle 2) • Treating clients and members of the public fairly and with respect (Principle 4) • Providing a proper standard of service and ensuring clear, effective communication (Code of Conduct for Firms, Paragraphs 2.1 and 3.1) Based on our interactions, these standards were not adhered to. This is not simply a matter of misunderstanding; it is a matter of professional conduct, and your reply only reinforces the concerns we have raised.
