We have been with Richardson Swift for years and could not be happier with the service they give year after year. Whatever issue we have with finance they are on hand ready to assist. Accounts are always produced to a high standard and they have a large network of experts in various fields who can always help. A special mention to Tom who is our accountant at Richardson Swift. He is incredibly knowledgeable in accounting, very professional and is an all round great guy who we really enjoy working with. 5 stars for him and the entire company.

Similar to the last review - I had perfectly good initial meeting but could not get a follow-up response to progress the matter at hand. Even after a call where an apology was made and a promise to deal with the matter, I never received any further communication. Nearly 11 months have now elapsed! A "no we can't help you" would have been infinitely preferable!

From what started with a very positive experience and a very helpful phone initial phone call with Jon Miles my experience with Richardson Swift went down hill. On following up a good while later by email I was met with a slightly defensive response being told I’d had a generous assist prior and that it was on me to have sent in various documents for review. In following emails to them I tried to instruct yet the reply time was interminable - literally months! I also recently reviewed all emails sent which I genuinely can’t see as being anything other than professional enquiries. The final email I sent (6 months ago) repeating a request to instruct and offering to pay up front simply went unanswered. I can but think I was of not enough commercial value to them as a business. I acted in good faith whilst I waited for them to reply whilst trying to proceed with conveyancy. In the end I had to go elsewhere as I couldn’t wait any longer. It’s a shame as they seem highly rated and recommended. Very odd and deeply frustrating when you are simply trying to pay for someone’s professional services!
