Shane, Conor and the team were professional and reliable throughout the sale of our house. It was our first time selling a house after living there for over 18 years. The team at SG Murphy made the process seamless and offered plenty of sound advice along the way. Would definitely recommend.

Over all, great service for our first time buyer experience. The quote was incredibly reasonable and the team got the work done in good time. One note - communication at the beginning was slow and we were clueless as to what was going on with little guidance. Understandbly the team deal with convencying every day so in hindsight, no news was good news but as anxious first time buyers, we would have liked some updates. However in the end, everything got processed in good time when the final property in the chain was able to go. Special mention to Cara, who was great at taking our calls and answering our emails as we were anxious FTBs! We would reccomend Shane and team to friends and family in the future. Thanks to the team for all their help.

As an Indian immigrant buying my first home in Belfast, I had many questions. However Shane was always patient, helpful, and kept me updated throughout the process. A true gentleman and a top-class solicitor – highly recommended!

Reading these reviews makes me think how they have 5 stars and we were dealing with the wrong solicitors. We used them to sell and buy. When we sold our house, everything was good and they responded in reasonable time but when we completed our sell, they held on to our money because apparently Shane was on holidays, even though they knew we were completing on that day and we had to wait over the weekend to even get our money which was absurd. We thought maybe this is a one off error and decided to give our business again for our purchase and this was a huge mistake. Firstly our purchase for a chain free home was nothing but. They waited about 2 months before even starting to chase for the deeds or documents from the other solicitors. We were waiting then for further progress and when we asked them for updates only to be told process hasn't even started. And when they even stopped twiddling on their thumbs, the response times for updates is none and you'd ask for updates and don't get replies for week or two, which this should be a simple 5 minute email. We had to keep chasing them through estate agents and the sellers solicitors to get anything moving. When it came to the day of completion for our purchase, the response times were at a speed of light because they were getting their money so ofcourse that's when you hear from them. I normally don't leave reviews to not tanish a business but my god, you'd think they are doing the job for free when you're paying high fees for a decent service.

Shane was really excellent in handling our recent house sale and in dealing with a particularly unreasonable solicitor acting on behalf of our purchaser. We would highly recommend the company for any future business and our son has just appointed them to act in his house purchase.
