A woeful mix of incompetence, apathy and inexperience labouring under the guise of a law firm. My requests - all perfectly routine, non contentious stuff- were handed down to a trainee solicitor who struggled to understand the nature of the job at hand, let alone read a lease. Their ineptitude coupled with an inability to respond in a timely manner ultimately cost me thousands of pounds. While a trainee’s lack of skill might be forgivable, the real disgrace lies with the supervising partners, who stood idly by as months drifted by in a haze of dithering. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for detail beggars belief. Frankly, I wouldn’t trust them to boil a kettle, much less manage matters for one of London’s more prestigious estates.

Avoid Avoid Avoid for your conveyancing......The website quotes "Client service is second to none at SA Law and that sets them apart in the legal world. They have great people who make genuine effort to know and understand their clients and their businesses." This was obviously written before Hardip joined the organisation. I didn't use these but my buyer did...we have moved on numerous occasions but never had to deal with any solicitor so uncommunicative and with such lack of attention to detail. I am obviously writing this on my opinion and the feedback received was that she was extremely elusive and very hard to communicate with by phone or e mail. Our solicitor was sent some enquiries at the start of June and responded with answers on 6th June. After numerous efforts to reach Hardip to ascertain whether there were any further enquiries she finally responded on 26th June. Allegedly she confirmed they would be sent to our solicitor within 2 hours! This turned into 7 days only 166 hours late!! This continued through July. The chain was only 3 people with the end of chain buying a leasehold property with management pack which can be notoriously slow. By early July both ourselves and the end of chain had all enquiries answered and Hardip was still keeping everyone waiting by not raising any enquiries and not confirming that no more enquiries were required. It got to the stage where we advised our buyer that we would be putting our property back on the market as their solicitor was totally uncommunicative. This worked to a point then we were further delayed as a mortgage offer had been sent with the incorrect address. This was sent over two months earlier but we were told it had been missed by the solicitor, mortgage broker. This delayed the exchange by a further week whilst the lender issued the correct mortgage offer. We were then informed that the correct offer had been sent and received back in may. Zero attention to detail. Hopefully this review will be read by Catherine Banks the new Head of Residential Conveyancing as I'm sure this is not the experience you would want your firm to be associated with.

Steve and the team were excellent! The efficiency and pace in which Steve acted was quick and straightforward and he was excellent to work with. We even managed to exchange in record time which were over the moon about. Would highly recommend and use again. Thanks so much!

I was recommended the services of SA Law but unfortunately they didn't live up to the promise. Lots of phone-calls went un returned and i think i managed to speak our case handler 2/3 times throughout the whole sale process of our property. It turned out the individual left the company after exchange and in learning this it certainly explained poor communications and our feeling of being ignored and unimportant. Handover to a new case handler was well executed and it seemed like we were going to have a more positive finish to our sale and purchase. However poor explanation and incorrect transaction statement meant we had to remit extra funds last minute that could've been avoided. Sad to say that i would probably not use the services of SA Law again.

I've instructed Steve Kenneford and his team both on a purchase and more recently subsequent sale of my home. They have been very professional, thorough and all around excellent in what they do throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend this team for conveyancing and will be back again for my next purchase no doubt. Thank you all for a job well done.
